Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic Praises China’s Development During Beijing Museum Visit
Serbian President praised China’s rapid technological and economic development during a visit to the Museum of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing as part of his ongoing state visit to the country.
Vucic toured the museum on Tuesday, where he viewed historical exhibits, photographs, documentary footage, and cultural artifacts highlighting the history and achievements of the Communist Party of China.
Vucic Applauds China’s Innovation and Progress
During the visit, the Serbian president expressed admiration for China’s combination of historical preservation and modern technology used throughout the museum.
Speaking to reporters, Vucic said the exhibits reflected China’s remarkable progress in innovation and high-tech industries.
“It’s a mixture of nostalgic photos, short video snippets and digitized technology that feels like something from the future,” Vucic said.
He added that the displays demonstrated the “big progress” China has achieved in recent years.
The Serbian leader reportedly spent significant time examining exhibits and discussing historical details with museum guides and translators.
Chinese Friendship Medal Highlighted During Visit
The museum visit came shortly after Vucic received the Friendship Medal from Chinese President on Monday.
The Friendship Medal is the highest honorary award granted by China to foreign nationals for contributions to strengthening relations with the country.
While viewing the section of the exhibition featuring the medal, Vucic said he was “particularly proud” to receive the honor from President Xi.
Serbia-China Relations Continue to Strengthen
Vucic also described the visit as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of China’s development under the leadership of the CPC.
He praised the Chinese people as “hard-working, diligent and dedicated,” while highlighting the growing ties between Serbia and China.
The Serbian president is currently in China for a five-day state visit scheduled to conclude on Thursday.
The visit reflects strengthening diplomatic and economic cooperation between Beijing and Belgrade, with both countries continuing to expand partnerships in infrastructure, trade, and technology.
